Let’s talk about dietary supplements and superfoods. You guys always ask me which supplements I take, so I wanted to publish a dedicated post for it. I will only talk about the ones I AM USING and only about MY OWN EXPERIENCES, please contact your doctor in advance before taking any supplements.
Vitamins, please!
Of course you can get all of the important vitamins and minerals your body needs by eating healthy and have a varied and balanced diet. I don’t support taking supplements in first place. But it can happen that you lack of some vitamins, soooo supplements would come into play. I don’t take that much supplements – mine are especially based on strengthening the immune system and protecting my body.
For my Turkish followers: Bu yazıda bahsettiğim tüm ürünlere buraya* tıklayarak ulaşabilirsiniz.
Vitamin D3K2 – I take a combination of vitamin D and vitamin K. In order to get the right amount of vitamin D, you have to sunbath with bare skin (without sunscreen) daily. Especially in winter, it is quite hard and most of the people lack of that vitamin. But it’s super necessary for healthy bones and joints. Vitamin D helps also to keep your arteries and blood vessels loose enough to support proper blood flow. Thus, when vitamin D levels are low, your veins will struggle to do their job properly, and vein issues will arise.
Krill Oil – Another supplement I use daily is krill oil. Krill oil is derived from tiny crustaceans found in the ocean. These sea creatures are a dietary staple for many animals, including whales, seals, penguins and other birds. Krill oil contains fatty acids similar to fish oil. I took fish oil for a long time, but switched to krill oil lately. It’s rich in omega-3 fatty acids as well as in antioxidants which keep your skin young and beautiful. Win win. 🙂
Propolis – Have you ever heard of propolis? Bees produce a compound called propolis from the sap on needle-leaved trees or evergreens. When they combine the sap with their own discharges and beeswax, they create a sticky, greenish-brown product used as a coating to build their hives – this is propolis. Research says that propolis has many many benefits for our human body. It became especially popular during the pandemic and many people (including me) started to take propolis daily in order to strengthen the immune system. The taste needs getting used to – I must admit that it tastes horrible for me. So I mix it with orange juice or any other drink and it works pretty well. 😄
My vitamin cocktail: Sambucus nigra + propolis.
Sambucus Nigra + CoQ10 – I don’t take it each day, I am still figuring out what works for my body. I take this supplement once or twice a week.
ImuneksPlus – A beta-glucan supplement. I take it once or twice a week. It promotes heart health, supports immunity and gut health and promotes glycemic control.
Magnesium – Magnesium has sooo many benefits and is essential for our body. Since I am really active and train almost daily, magnesium has become an important part of my lifestyle. 😄 According to studies, magnesium appears to lower lactate levels in your blood. Lactate (lactic acid) is a metabolite that is primarily produced by intense physical exercise. If it builds up, it can limit muscle performance and you will fatigue faster. After an intense workout session, I take my magnesium supplement.
Magnesium Oil – You can get magnesium also in the form of oil which you can massage into your skin. If I have post-workout pain, I massage my muscles with this oil and it helps.
Menthol Box – This is not a supplement, but I wanted to include it also in this post. I don’t like taking analgesics, so if it happens that I have headache, I smear a little bit of the menthol onto my forehead and temples and it helps to relieve the pain. Tiny thingyyy with high performance. 🙂
Superfoods
I love to prepare my smoothies and bowls with superfoods. They are sooo rich in vitamins and minerals!
Moringa Powder – Vitamin E, Potassium, Calcium
Spirulina Powder – Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron
Matcha Powder – Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin C (matcha latte yummyyy😋)
Açai Powder – Calcium, Iron, Vitamin A (who else is addicted to açai bowls?😍)
Hope you liked this post and it was helpful for you. The last thing I want to mention is that I don’t take protein supplements (because so many of you asked). Let’s talk in the comments down below how you keep your body healthy and which supplements you take. Would love to read your thoughts on this. 😊

I watched the video of Anastasia Kay, she talked about the dangers of vitamins. That vitamins simply can not be taken like this, they are dangerous. How do you feel about such statements?
Güneşlenirken cildimizin büyük bir yerini açmamız gerekir diye anlatmışsınız oysa en iyi d vitaminini elerimizden alıyoruz zaten:)
Youtube da keşfettim bakayım dedim vucüdumu şişirmek yerine boy kilo oranına göre normal bir form tutmaya çalışıyorum sizin yaptığınız hareketler evrenseldir diye düşünüyorum doğru mu düşünüyorum siz cevap verirsiniz
Eylem hanım merhaba d3k2’den günde 1 damla mı kullanıyorsunuz? İnternette kiloya göre damla sayısının arttığı vs yazıyor ama şişede günde 1 damla kullanılması gerektiği yazıyor. Bu konuda yardımcı olabilirseniz sevinirim.
